Late last week we headed “Up North” as we call it here in Wisconsin. I’m not sure what that technically means, but we went north of Green Bay to a little lake town and it was beautiful. Cold, but beautiful.
Though all three of us had colds throughout our four-day vacation, it was still wonderful. One of the most memorable vacations ever. Mostly because it was Riley’s first vacation. And longest car ride. And we all survived! Score!
As we all know, sometimes life moves fast. Too fast. And nothing makes you slow down than being in a lakeside cabin with your favorite people in the whole world, good food, a camp fire, starry sky and fresh air.
One of the reasons I love Wisconsin. Well hello there, canoe.
